SORRISO GOES INTERNATIONAL

China

SORRISO s.c.a.r.l. participated in the China-Italy Innovation Forum 2013 in Beijing (China), to promote a preliminary scouting activity. This allowed to start relationships with scientific and technological institutions, innovation centres and Chinese enterprises and to activate a collaboration with the Leili group.

In 2014 SORRISO took part in the “International Technology Transfer Congress of Beijing”, participating in the biotechnology session. This also allowed to start a collaboration with the China-Italy innovation Centre.

In 2014 SORRISO participated in the China-Italy Innovation Forum in Naples to support the existing relationships and to promote new ones by the direct participation of the SMEs belonging to the SORRISO network.

In 2015 SORRISO participated in the “Xth China Business and Technology Cooperation Fair and at the China-Italy Science-Technology and Innovation Week in Beijing”. The former is an important networking platform between the European Union and China regarding investments, commerce and technology. The China-Italy Science-Technology and Innovation Week introduced SORRISO as a national R&D system.



Brazil

SORRISO visited Brazil to sign an agreement with ITALCAM, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in San Paolo in Brazil.

Collaboration between SORRISO and the University of Sao Paulo Brazil to develop bio-nanotechnologies applied to the industrial process especially biofuel and nanomedicine.



United Arab Emirates (UAE)

SORRISO was nominated as an innovative SME to start collaboration with the UAE organizations and institutions in the areas of food safety and health-food.

ONGOING PROJECTS

SORRISO s.c.a.r.l. applied for an international grant to fund: ”Cooperazione per le Ricerche avanzate Di nAnoTecnologie Applicate (C.O.R.D.A.T.A.)” from the Campania Regional Council with FESR funds*, to support an internationalization programme for the application of innovative bio/nanotechnologies.
